Thank you for your interest in the renewal of Palisades Charter High School’s charter. The school’s goal is to submit the charter to LAUSD in late fall 2008. In this section of our website you will find all information relevant to renewal and have the opportunity to contribute your thoughts and suggestions to the process. To assist with this, you will find the current charter document as well as LAUSD’s proposed new boilerplate for each element and in some instances a brief explanation of the history/ rationale for how the element was previously written and any areas of focus for a particular element. A taskforce of the PCHS Board of Directors comprised of teacher, parent, and community representatives is heading up the renewal process. This taskforce meets in room B101 the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 2:15 pm and all are invited to attend.
